Are Freak Face skin care products “clean?”

“Clean beauty” is an unregulated term and a huge grey area in the skincare industry. At Freak Face, we focus on sourcing natural and safe ingredients that work holistically to provide real results for your skin without ever compromising your health. We promise to always source ethical ingredients that are cruelty-free, biodegradable, of nonanimal origin and sustainable for the environment whenever possible. We’re nerds when it comes skincare and love to chat. Shoot us a note if you want to learn more or if you have any questions about the ingredients included in and of our products.

Does Freak Face test on animals?

Absolutely not! Freak Face products and ingredients are 100% cruelty-free. Our skin care is made for humans and tested on humans - our team, friends and family - only!

How long do Freak Face products last after opening?

They’re most effective for up to 12 months unopened when stored in a cool, dry environment - out of direct sunlight. 

Does Freak Face use preservatives? 

Yes we do. Any commercial-grade products with a water base is at risk of growing bacteria if left unrefrigerated, which is harmful to your skin. We use food-grade eco-certified preservatives to stabilize our products and allow them to have a longer and effective shelf life.

What skin types are Freak Face products suitable for?

Our current line of skin care products is focused on sensitive to acne-prone skin. If you suffer from cystic acne, or any other medical skin condition, please consult with your family doctor before using Freak Face products.

How should Freak Face products be stored?

In a cool and dry environment, away from direct sunlight - a bathroom cabinet or mini beauty fridge is ideal. Make sure to properly close each product after use to avoid your product drying out or unwanted bacteria.

Are all Freak Face product's fragrance free?

Yes all of our products are free of all fragrances and essential oils. We use hydrosols and oil bases that have natural scents that won’t over power your product.

Are Freak Face products vegan?

Yes! We only source plant-based ingredients of nonanimal origin.

Are Freak Face products safe to use when pregnant?

Absolutely! Our skincare products are perfectly safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding. If any skin irritation does occur, consult your doctor immediately.

What if I have an allergy to a Freak Face product?

Prior to using any of our products, we recommend doing a patch test on your arm to ensure no reaction occurs. If you do have an allergic reaction, stop use immediately and seek professional health care advice. 

What is the Gemini Face Mask made of?

The Gemini Face Mask is made from 100% silicone.

Where are Freak Face products ship from?

All of our products are made and shipped from Canada.

Where do you ship?

We ship Freak Face products to all states in the US and across Canada. But don’t worry - we’re coming for you world! 

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free on all orders over $75.

For orders less than $75 shipping is: $15 flat rate for both Canada and the United States.

What are your order processing times?

When you place an order you can expect your package to be shipped within 1 to 3 business days. Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email confirmation along with a tracking number. Please be aware of high volume processing times around the holidays and take shipping delays into consideration when placing your order. Consider opting for local pick up if you live in the Calgary area.

What shipping carrier do you use?

All Freak Face orders are shipped with Canada Post or USPS.

How long does shipping take?

Once you have received your confirmation email and tracking number, you can expect your Freak Face products to arrive within 4 business days if you live in the US and 4-5 business days within Canada.

Please note that all packages are subject to shipping delays that are out of our control.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes, only within Canada. Additional charges will apply.

Can I ship Freak Face products as a gift?

Yes of course! Simply enter the name and address of your fellow freak who you wish to surprise at checkout and we will take care of the rest! If you wish to send them a little note to wish them well, enter your message into the notes section prior to the checkout process.

Are my orders tracked?

Yes all orders are tracked and you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has been shipped. The only exception to this is if you only order the Gemini mask. This will be shipped via snail mail, but should still arrive within 4-5 buisness days. If you don’t receive your order please email us at info@freakface.co with your tracking number in the subject line so we can look up your order and place a claim.

I haven’t received my tracking number, what now?

If you haven’t received your tracking number after 3 full business days since placing your order please send us an email at info@heyfreakface.com with your order number in the subject line. We apologize profusely for any delays and will ensure your order is in your hands as soon as possible.

Why is my tracking number not working?

Tracking numbers can take up to a full business day to process in the carrier’s system and update on their website. If it’s been 48 hours, send us an email at info@heyfreakface.com with your order number in the subject line and we’ll look into it for you.

Will I be charged customs duties?

No you will not be charged duties or customs upon delivery.

Does Freak Face offer local pick up?

We are currently transitioning spaces and will offering local pick up again shortly!

Do you offer refunds or product exchanges?

We want you to completely love your Freak Face products, but we understand they aren’t for everyone - as much as we would like them to be! If your product just isn’t working for you, send us an email within 14 days of receiving your order and we’ll start the process of getting your product returned. All returns are subject to additional shipping fees.

What if I haven’t received my order?

Oh no! To begin, we are so sorry! Send us an email at info@freakface.co with your order number in the subject, and we’ll track down your package with the shipping carrier. On the rare occasion your package is lost we will send you replacement products, free of charge, so your skin can be happy once again!

You can purchase your products with Visa, Mastercard, Interac, AMEX, Discover, PayPal, and ShopPay. 

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Can I change or cancel my order once it’s placed?

Yes, as long as it’s within the processing window of 1 to 3 business days and has yet to be shipped. 

To cancel your order: Please email us at info@freakface.co with your order number and CANCEL in the subject line. 

To change your mailing address: Please email us at info@freakface.co with your order number and EDIT ADDRESS in the subject line. 

To adjust your order: Please email us at info@freakface.co with your order number and EDIT ORDER in the subject line.

Can I purchase a gift card?

Yes, we offer digital gift cards! Simply add a gift card to your cart and we will send you a confirmation email with your gift card code once your transaction is complete. You can either choose to physically print out your code to gift to your person, or send it directly to them by entering their email address during the checkout process. 

Can I remove or change a saved payment method?

Absolutely, you can edit this when you go through the checkout process the next time you place an order.

Do you send free samples?

Not at this time, but with your support we will one day!
