She’s a freak out of the ordinary and the woman at the helm of Freak Face, meet Soz our founder!
Arriving in Canada in the mid-'90s, Soz had big dreams for her new life in the West. Being the only daughter to her former Kurdish freedom fighter father - Soz naturally developed a passion of human rights and through that wanted to live and work through integrity, intention, and social connection.
In the Spring of 2016, Soz was struggling with her skin and felt defeated by lucrative marketing in the skincare industry. She wished for more brands showcasing transparency while she desperately searched for help to treat her hereditary cystic acne.
In her frustration she started Skwiik, a bath and body brand that grew quickly, this brand created a community of like-minded humans and took wellness to a whole new level. She quickly filled many shelves in retail shops across Canada.
With years of experience in the Skin Care industry, Soz wanted to take her vision even further to create Freak Face — a new age take on the cosmetic industry. With spunky branding and clean ingredients, the sky became the limit!
Soz’s mission is about providing a cost effective solution to a common human problem without the compromise to the world or one’s skin.
